About Us

Ollie McKinnis and I met in Green Bay, Wisconsin in late 2014. We were both signing our leases to become contractors for the same carrier. We got along wonderfully and stayed in touch after we each climbed into our own trucks and hit the road. We became close friends and eventually started sharing other business ideas with each other. When I mentioned the fueling brace to Ollie, he could barely contain his excitement. Ollie immediately loved the idea and even said that he needed such a product. He had experienced the nozzle falling out of the fuel tanks on his truck. I sent a pair of braces to him along with some marketing materials. Ollie promptly became the Fueling Brace's first authorized re-seller.

Ollie McKinnis and Melissa Allen

My name is Melissa Allen. I am an Army veteran, over-the-road truck driver, and also the inventor of the Fueling Brace that is changing the way truckers fuel their trucks. When I had a problem with the nozzle falling out of my tanks during fueling, I searched for a solution. There was nothing on the market to safely and efficiently address this problem, so I created my own solution. All braces are currently made by hand right here in the U.S.A. Soon, they will be machined for better precision and faster production.
